High knees
Execution
- Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Look ahead and make sure your chest is lifted.
- Bend one knee and bring it up slightly above your waist.
- Bring your foot back down and repeat with the other leg.
- Now speed up the motion.
Points of attention
- Keep your chest lifted.
- Keep your core engaged.
Variations
PROGRESSION
Increase the tempo.
REGRESSION
- Decrease the tempo.
- Lift your knee to just under just hips.
